Pictures marked * were taken with a Fujifilm FinePix 1300 digital camera. The rest were shot on Kodak 400ASA 35mm film with a Canon F-1.

(Hotel room view) The view from the front window of our hotel room in Estes Park, Colorado.
(Hotel room view #2) And the view from the rear window.
(Thunderstorm) An approaching thunderstorm, seen from the Forest Canyon overlook in Rocky Mountain National Park. There were several signs warning about the dangers of lightning. This is well above treeline, so you tend to be the tallest thing around.
(Thunderstorm) Sunset in Estes Park.
(Trail Ridge
Road) The Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park. This is not a drive for the faint of heart.
(Trail Ridge
Road) Another picture of the Trail Ridge Road. *
(Alpine Visitor
Center) The back of the Alpine Visitor Center, as seen from the Alpine Ridge Trail. The Old Fall River road, which was closed when we were there, meets the Trail Ridge Road here.
(Colorado River) The Colorado River, in Rocky Mountain National Park. It's still pretty small at this point in its life. *
(Echo Lake) Echo Lake, from the Mount Evans Scenic Byway.
(Mt. Evans view) A wide angle view, looking back at the Mt. Evans scenic byway winding through the tundra, from the top of Mt. Evans. You can see a layer of brown haze caused by the wildfires elsewhere in the state.
